Soundpath Health Expands Service Area

Soundpath Health, a Washington state health care company specializing in Medicare Advantage products, announced today that it is expanding its coverage area into Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Whatcom counties.

Soundpath Health, a provider-owned plan, will expand from five operating markets to nine for the 2012 annual enrollment period. The expansion comes at time of marked growth for the plan. Soundpath Health has grown nearly 60% year-over-year for the past two years.

"We are proud to be able to offer five Medicare Advantage plans for consumers in Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Whatcom counties.” said Christine Tomcala, CEO of Soundpath Health.  “With the partnership we have developed with the local medical groups, such as Wenatchee Valley Medical Center, Family Care Network and Peace Health, we have the support, dedication to patient care and committed partners that will make this market entry a success for all.”

Soundpath Health projects a continued growth in staffing, contracted services and community affiliations. “While many organizations are laying off employees and cutting back their outreach, we are excited to be growing and expanding,” said Tomcala.

Medicare beneficiaries will be able to enroll in Soundpath Health plans for the 2012 plan year during the annual enrollment period, effective October 15 – December 7, 2011.
